A Place to Pause
It began with a wish — a son dreaming of a space for his retired mother, a writer, to spend her days close to the pond, the breeze, and the sky she had so often written about. A place where time could slow enough for her to read without turning a page for hours, to angle for fish as the water ripples softly, to watch her grandchildren play while sharing stories from another time.
That dream found form in a 150 Square Feet Victorian-inspired octagonal gazebo, softened with a tropical breeze. Ten columns rise in harmony, half-grill railings opening the view to the green beyond. Through the day, light shifts gently, and above, a hand-painted ceiling holds its own horizon — birds caught in mid-flight, trees in bloom, clouds unhurried.
Built in 21 days, this gazebo is more than a structure. It is a place where moments linger, where the past meets the present, and where memories are written into the air, ready to be remembered again and again.
